Leaving Pride behind wide

If someone wants therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction—shouldn’t they be allowed it?

THE GAY LOBBY SAYS NO.

THE RUTH INSTITUTE SAYS YES!

Whenever we post a testimony from someone who left pride behind, YouTube slaps a "conversion therapy" warning under it, compliments of The Trevor Project, which actively fights for counseling bans.

Therapy Should NOT Be a Crime

But in 27 states, talk therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction is illegal.

That’s wrong—and The Ruth Institute is doing something about it.

They say therapy that doesn’t 'affirm' is dangerous. That change is impossible. That anyone who tries is doomed to fail.

That's a lie.

We've talked to people who have left Pride behind.

They’re thriving.

The Science

Science says:
There is no gay gene.
People can and do change their behavior and attractions.
Therapy has been shown to reduce same-sex attraction, improve mental health, and lower suicidality.
The Gay Lobby says:
People are born gay.
No one can ever change.
Trying to change is always harmful.
They’re wrong. And they know it. That’s why they want to block the exits.

The Truth About Therapy Bans

In Chiles v. Salazar, a Christian counselor in Colorado is fighting back.

“Kaley Chiles... argues that the state ban interferes with her ability to treat individuals with 'same-sex attractions or gender identity confusion' who 'prioritize their faith above their feelings,' in violation of her religious exercise and free speech rights.” (Article here.)

Her case is going to the Supreme Court, and The Ruth Institute is going to help her win!

"I am a proud monthly supporter of the Ruth Institute because they are unapologetic in defending traditional morality and the innocence of our children. With America clearly at a crossroads, I feel that my contributions help stand up an effective bulwark against the insanity that is raging in our country."

"I've been following Dr. Morse's work for about six years. You can tell she's a thorn in the side of Satan and his henchmen because of all the on-going efforts to censor her work and even put her out of business. I appreciate her powerful witness for the culture of life, and would encourage others to support her as well."
